In case of excessive resorption, bone volume can be regained by surgically transplanting bone from different regions.
Is it possible for patients with allergies to use dentures?
First of all, an allergy test should be conducted and it should be determined what the allergies are. Since there’s no metal in full dentures, it can be easily applied to those with metal allergies. However, in the presence of an acrylic allergy, which is a complete denture material, it isn’t possible to use full dentures, whereas implant supported dentures can be used in this case.
What is the lifespan of full dentures?
Full dentures serve for many years when shown the proper care and hygiene. In cases of weakening or osteoporosis, the prosthesis may gradually become loose and jiggle around.
